Terms of use

• You must be 16 or older.
• Halfup is a bookkeeping tool. It never moves, holds or processes money. You pay each other outside the app and record it.
• Be kind. Don't post harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, scam or illegal content in names, notes or descriptions. Other members can report and block you, and we can warn, restrict or suspend accounts that break these terms.
• Everyone in a household can see everything in it and can edit or delete expenses. Every change is recorded in history.
• The core app is free, with no caps on expenses, members or history. Optional paid features may be added later; they will never lock basic splitting, settling, history or export.
• We do our best to keep balances accurate and your data safe, but the service is provided as is, without guarantees, to the extent the law allows.
